CANCELLATION POLICY
Matero Commerce Private Limited (“Matero”, “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates an online commerce and delivery platform through which customers may place orders for products offered by the Company or its associated sellers/service providers.
This Cancellation Policy sets out the terms governing cancellation of orders placed through the platform.
1. Order Confirmation and Cancellation
1.1 Once an order is placed and confirmed through the platform, the order is considered final and cannot ordinarily be cancelled by the customer.
1.2 The customer is therefore advised to carefully verify the product, quantity, variant, delivery address and other order details before confirming the order.
2. No Cancellation After Order Confirmation
2.1 Matero does not provide cancellation facilities merely on account of a change of mind, change in requirement, ordering of an incorrect product or quantity, or any other reason attributable to the customer's decision after the order has been confirmed.
2.2 Accordingly, requests for cancellation on the following grounds shall ordinarily not be accepted:
- Change of mind or change in personal preference;
- Product is no longer required;
- Incorrect product, quantity, size, variant or other order details selected by the customer;
- Customer subsequently finds the product unsuitable for any reason not attributable to Matero;
- Customer is unavailable to receive the order; or
- Any other reason arising solely from the customer's change in circumstances after confirmation of the order.
3. Cancellation by Matero
3.1 Matero reserves the right to cancel an order, either wholly or partially, in circumstances where the Company is unable to fulfil the order due to reasons including, but not limited to:
- Non-availability of the ordered product;
- Inventory or stock-related issues;
- Operational or logistical difficulties;
- Inability to deliver to the specified address or location;
- Incorrect or incomplete product/order information;
- Technical or system-related errors;
- Payment-related issues or failure of payment authorization; or
- Any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Company.
3.2 In such cases, the customer shall be informed, wherever reasonably practicable, and any amount actually paid by the customer in respect of the cancelled order may be refunded in accordance with the Company's Refund Policy.
4. Cancellation Due to Non-Fulfilment
4.1 Where Matero confirms an order but subsequently determines that it is unable to fulfil the order, the Company may cancel such order and process an applicable refund.
4.2 Such cancellation shall not give rise to any additional compensation, damages, loss of profit or other monetary claim against Matero, except to the extent required under applicable law.
5. Cancellation Due to Customer-Related Issues
5.1 Matero may cancel an order where delivery cannot reasonably be completed due to circumstances attributable to the customer, including an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, refusal to accept the order, repeated failure to respond to delivery attempts, or other circumstances preventing successful delivery.
5.2 Any refund in such circumstances shall be subject to the Company's Refund Policy and applicable law.
6. Orders Already Dispatched or Out for Delivery
6.1 Once an order has been dispatched or handed over to a delivery partner for delivery, the customer shall not ordinarily be entitled to cancel the order.
6.2 If the customer refuses to accept the order after dispatch, such refusal shall not automatically create a right to a refund. Any refund, if applicable, shall be considered in accordance with the Refund Policy and the circumstances of the particular order.
7. Cancellation and Refund
7.1 Cancellation and refund are separate matters. Cancellation of an order does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund. Where a refund becomes applicable under this Cancellation Policy or the Company's Refund Policy, the refund shall be processed in accordance with the applicable terms and, wherever practicable, through the original mode of payment.
7.2 No cash refund shall ordinarily be provided.
8. Promotional Orders and Special Orders
8.1 Orders placed under promotional schemes, special offers, discounted pricing, limited-period campaigns or other special arrangements may be subject to additional or different cancellation conditions as communicated at the time of placing the order.
9. Fraudulent or Suspicious Orders
9.1 Matero reserves the right to cancel orders that appear to be fraudulent, unauthorized, suspicious, placed using incorrect information, or in violation of the Company's Terms of Service or applicable law.
10. Modification of Orders
10.1 Once an order has been confirmed, requests for modification of the product, quantity, delivery address or other order details may not be accepted. Customers are advised to review all details carefully before placing the order.
11. Contact Us
11.1 For any query relating to cancellation of an order, customers may contact Matero Commerce Private Limited through the contact details provided on the Company's website/application, mentioning the relevant Order ID and registered contact details.
12. Governing Terms
12.1 This Cancellation Policy shall be read together with the Company's Terms of Service, Refund Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy. In the event of any inconsistency, the applicable terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable law.
12.2 Matero Commerce Private Limited reserves the right to amend or modify this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any revised policy shall be made available through the Company's website or application and shall apply prospectively to orders placed thereafter.
